Hertfordshire Wine School courses and tastings are held in Harpenden, St Albans, Hertford and now Hitchin.
Evening courses in Harpenden take place between 7.00pm to 9.00pm, usually at The Skew Bridge, Southdown Road AL5 1PQ. The Skew has it's own car park and is just 10-12 minutes walk from the railway station and town centre.
Evening courses in St Albans are held at the County Club, in Ridgmont Road, St Albans AL1 3AG. The club is less than five minutes walk from City Railway Station and ten minutes from the city centre. Parking is available in the club’s private car park to the rear of the building.
In Hertford, it's the Salisbury Arms Hotel, in Fore Street, SG14 1BZ. Conveniently situated in the town centre, and a few minutes walk from Hertford East station, the Salisbury is one of Hertford's long-established and best-known venues and the only hotel with its own car park.
Saturday daytime courses, which include Champagne and a three-course lunch, take place from 11.00am to 4.00pm at the award-winning Thompson@Darcy's Restaurant, 2 Hatfield Road, St Albans AL1 3RP. Conveniently placed in the centre of the Cathedral city of St Albans, Thompson@Darcy's is a 15-minute walk, or a short taxi ride, from the railway station. Parking is available at nearby ‘pay and display’ car parks.
Our new venue in Hitchin is The Priory. Located just a few minutes walk from the town centre in Tilehouse Street, SG5 2DL, Hitchin Priory is a spacious hotel and conference centre, with its own car park.
