Our Venues
Hertfordshire Wine School courses and tastings are held in Harpenden, St Albans and our new centre in Hertford.
Evening courses in Harpenden take place, usually between 7.00pm to 9.00pm, at the Harpenden House Hotel, Southdown Road, Harpenden AL5 1PE. The hotel is less than ten minutes walk from the railway station and town centre. There is plenty of parking space in the hotel car park.
Evening courses in St Albans are held at the County Club, in Ridgmont Road, St Albans AL1 3AG. The club is less than five minutes walk from City Railway Station and ten minutes from the city centre. Parking is available in the club’s private car park to the rear of the building.
In Hertford, it's the Salisbury Arms Hotel, in Fore Street, SG14 1BZ. Conveniently situated in the town centre, and a few minutes walk from Hertford East station, the Salisbury is one of Hertford's long-established and best-known venues and the only hotel with its own car park.

Saturday daytime courses, which include Champagne and a three-course lunch, take place from 11.30am to 4.30pm at the award-winning Darcy's Restaurant, 2 Hatfield Road, St Albans AL1 3RP. Conveniently placed in the centre of the Cathedral city of St Albans, Darcy's is a 15-minute walk, or a short taxi ride, from the railway station. Parking is available at nearby ‘pay and display’ car parks.
