The Hertfordshire Wine School Terms & Conditions
Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.
All bookings are refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the event date. If a refund is requested more than 55 days after purchase date, the full amount will be refunded less a 5% Administration Charge.
Up to 2 weeks prior to the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course/tasting, send a substitute, or receive a refund voucher that may be used for payment against another course/tasting.
Within 2 weeks of the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute. No refunds or transfers to other evenings will be provided, unless under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Hertfordshire Wine School.
If you do not attend a booked course or event, no refund will apply except under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Hertfordshire Wine School.
If you are booked on the eight-week 'World of Wine Course', or a four-week course, and you elect to miss an evening (minimum 7 days notice) you may either send a substitute or pick up the missed session on a subsequent course. If you are unable to provide 7 days notice, there is no guarantee of being able to transfer the booking but we will try, where possible, and at the discrection of Hertfordshire Wine School, to arrange for you to pick up the missed session on a future course.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event.
For Corporate and Private Tastings a non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable 30 days prior to the tasting date with the balance due on, or before, the date of the event.
We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.
We do not serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18.
