Chardonnay Masterclass (St Albans)
Chardonnay is one of the world's leading grape varieties and, depending upon where it is grown and how the wine is made, is capable of producing wines in an astonishing range of styles. So, if you like Champagne, Chablis, white Burgundy, Australian Chardonnay and Californian Chardonnay, this is the evening for you. We will taste Blanc de Blancs Champagne, oaked and unoaked wines from France and the New World and even a Chardonnay 'stickie' from Australia. We'll also find out how the wines are made and try some of them with food samples to further demonstrate the versatility of this wonderful grape variety.
This wine tasting evening also makes a great Gift Voucher idea for only £30.
All tastings feature wines sourced locally, so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, a tutored tasting and use of professional ISO tasting glasses.
